Yekini Olalekan Kolade holds a Business Education degree from the Lagos State University (B.ED) in 2004,  and a MBA Marketing  from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) in 2007. He is also a fellow of The Certified Institute of Economics and associate member of Institute of Capital Market Registrars (ICMR) and Institute of Marketing.

Yekini joined the services of the Registrars Department of Union Bank of Nigeria Plc in 1982. He left in 1992 to join the Legal/Company Secretary Department of Lever Brothers Nigeria Plc(now Unilevel Plc) as Assistant Registrar and became the Registrar of the in-house Registrar’s Unit in 1996. In July 1999, Yekini rejoined the Registrar’s Department of Union Bank from where he left for First Registrars Nigeria Limited in 2000. He is now the Group Head of Operation and Support.

Yekini, has been involved in the succesful completion of many public offering such as Guinness Nigeria Plc, A & B Debentures (1983 & 1985), Cadbury Nigeria Plc Rights Issue (1983 & 1985), Nestle Nig. Plc Rights Offer (1990/1991), African Petroleum Offer for Sale (1989/1990), Pfizer Products Ltd (1992), OANDO PLC, BPE & Loan Stock Offers (2000), First Bank of Nigeria Plc Offer (2007), Costain West Africa Plc Offer and Rights Issues (2007) etc.

He has attended many local and International Courses/Seminars including the NSE/ICS on Corporate Governance and Nigeria Stock Exchange Investment Road Show in London in 2004.
