Kehinde Lawanson holds a B.Sc in Estate Management from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and an MBA in Finance from the University of Lagos. A chartered surveyor, he has rich experience in banking spanning over 18 years, with executive management positions in investment and cormercial banking in several banks.

A consumate professional, Lawanson has attended various training programmes in top rated business schools including Stanford University, University of Manchester, INSEAD and Lagos Business Schools.

He is an alumnus of the United Nations University, Amman, Jordan and the World Bank Institute Washington. He was until this appointment Executive Director, Lagos & West. Prior to his joining the First Bank Board, he was Deputy General Manager and Group Head, National Corporates in the Bank's Corporate Banking Directorate.He is Married with Children
